Drake’s Under Ground Kings stands as a standout track from Take Care (Deluxe), blending introspective lyricism with a hypnotic groove. Co-produced by Noah "40" Shebib and T-Minus, the song captures a raw, cinematic energy that defines the album’s moody atmosphere. The track’s layered beats and Drake’s reflective flow create a sense of urgency, as if the listener is caught in a moment frozen between ambition and vulnerability.

The production on Under Ground Kings is a masterclass in contrast, with Shebib’s signature Toronto-inspired sound meeting T-Minus’s precise, futuristic touch. The result is a track that feels both grounded and expansive, where Drake’s delivery oscillates between cool detachment and raw emotion. It’s the kind of song that lingers, its rhythm pulling you deeper into the narrative without ever feeling overdone.

At track eight on Take Care (Deluxe), Under Ground Kings serves as a pivotal moment in the album’s journey, where Drake’s storytelling reaches its most immersive. The collaboration between Shebib and T-Minus ensures the production remains tight and dynamic, reinforcing the song’s place as one of the project’s most compelling cuts. It’s a testament to how a well-crafted beat and deliberate lyricism can create something unforgettable.
